Serving on staff at Camp Big Cedars is more than "work." Serving the children and teens who attend camp each summer is both a blessing and a privilege. Whether it's serving as cabin staff, teaching, or helping in the kitchen, you won't regret being a part of this special ministry.
STAFF QUALIFICATIONS

Camp staff members should be born again believers in Jesus and seeking a deeper spiritual walk with the Lord.

Staff members working directly with youth (including Deans, Cabin Leaders, CITs, etc) should be able to present the basic plan of salvation.

Prior experience working with youth/children is preferred
​

Completion of the required training procedures

Age requirements to supervise youth in ministry sessions or Cabin oversight: Senior Camp: age 20. Intermediate and Junior Camp: Age 18.
Ages for CIT’s will be approved on a case-by-case basis by the Camp Directors. Exceptions are allowed if approved by Camp Directors and Camp Coordinators.
